Learn what it takes to run a socially minded co-working space!
The B Corps Operations internship will teach you the ins and outs of operating a business with a social mission. In business not everything that can be counted counts and not everything that counts can be counted, but we need your help to pick out those key analytics that will help us better serve our entrepreneurial community. This intern will work closely with the Operations Manager to help facilitate changes in procedures, policies and protocols at HQ Raleigh. The operations intern will also help in optimizing resources and maintenance around the facility.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As the Operations intern you will learn how to run and stabilize a facility used by leasing startups (Fun fact: HQ Raleigh is a 20,000 sq ft facility!) You will use cloud databases to optimize resources essential to company operation and customer service and build relationships with both existing and potential vendors and sponsors.You will streamline operational processes and identify areas where we could improve our triple bottom line operations. You will also execute procedure, policy and protocol adjustments based off of member feedback.
WHO IS A GOOD FIT?
Management, recreation, operations, Business, environmental science or management majors would be a great fit for this position. We need someone who is very detail oriented, likes operational processes, enjoys tracking data and analytics and has a passion for triple bottom line businesses.

COMMITMENT
Fall and Spring Semesters: (see specific dates on the application below)
- Regular work schedule of 15 hours a week
- Manage one after-hours event per month
- Attend orientations, trainings, and other internship-related events.
Summer Semester: (see specific dates on the application below)
- Regular work schedule of 25 hours a week
- Manage one after-hours event per month
- Attend orientations, trainings, and other internship-related events.
